Last week, we played to a tidy little crowd at the Slowdown here in Omaha. Our friend Jeremy was kind enough to record our set, as well as the performances by the night’s other acts – Agent Ribbons and Beep Beep.

You can download the entire set for free at Jeremy’s website, allthescene.com.

As we hole up in our basement for the winter to write new songs, our show last week was probably the final time a few of the songs we’ve played relentlessly over the past two years will be heard live. Sad. I know. What’s even more sorrowful is the fact that it was Matt’s last show with us for the foreseeable future. Yes, our beloved Mr. Hutton just relocated to Bloomington, Indiana, where he will continue to promote TP as well as pursue his solo project My Pal Dragon.

We’re sad to see him go. Luckily, there’s no hard feelings. I guess it’s fitting that you can get a taste of the last song he wrote for the band from All The Scene. It’s called Heartifact and will be included in our 10-inch split with The 1959 Hat Co., out next February on Slumber Party.
